How left-wing policies shape equality, labor rights, and social welfare
By : Tuhin Sarwar journalist |
In the 21st century, rising inequality and the weakening of labor rights have led to renewed discussions about left-wing economic models. My research looks at how ideas from Marxism to Social Democracy have evolved over time.
Using examples from Nordic countries, China, and Latin America, the study shows how leftist policies, even within neoliberal systems, have impacted labor rights and social welfare.
The research highlights that, with strong institutions, left-wing economic models can help reduce inequality and promote social justice.
This paper calls for a rethinking of economic systems that ensure fairness for all. I encourage researchers, policymakers, and activists to join the discussion.
