This paper explores how digital connectivity and professional networking platforms are reshaping the youth labour market in Bangladesh, with a focus on individuals navigating the global gig economy from home. Leveraging field-based reporting, case studies, and quantitative digital adoption data, the study demonstrates how platforms like LinkedIn Bangladesh facilitate skill development, remote work opportunities, and entrepreneurial growth. The paper also examines gender disparities and regional inequalities, highlighting the challenges faced by women and rural youth in accessing digital labour markets. By situating Bangladesh within the South Asian digital economy, this research contributes to the literature on digital labour, platform economies, youth empowerment, and workforce transformation. Findings provide policy-relevant insights for digital skills development, inclusive workforce strategies, and bridging the gap between local talent and global opportunities.
